Agenda

1. 5 minutes: Split into groups of threes and list six of your favorite characteristics about yourself. Needs to be three physical characteristics and three personality characteristics. (Example- Fast, beautiful, artistic, good listener, generous and loyal.) We are looking for characteristics with depth that are reveling and out-of-the-box.

2. 5 minutes: Once you have your six characteristics listed on your paper, write down next to them an object or an animal related to each of your characteristics and why they are related. (Example:

- Fast- cheetah: cheetahs are one of the fastest animals on the planet.
- Beautiful- sun: To me the most beautiful sight in the world is to watch the sun, rise and set.
- Artist- paintbrushes: I love all types of art but my favorite one to do is painting.
- Good listener-bat: bats have terrible eyesight so to catch their food they use their superior hearing to find and catch food.
- Generous- earth/mother nature: the earth is very generous because it provides us with everything we need to survive and much more.
- Loyal- boomerang: boomerangs will always come back to you and long as you treat it with care and don’t break it.

3. 5 minutes: Take those objects or animals related to your characteristics and draw yourself with these features (just a rough draft, you should put effort into it but it doesn’t have to be perfect). Example:
4. 3 minutes: Now under you drawing, write one characteristic that you wish you could change about yourself or that you know is bad, it must be a personality characteristic with, again, depth and that is reveling.
5. 5 minutes: The character you just drew is now a superhero! Use the bad characteristic you just wrote and write down next to it how it can be used for good. Your worst trait is now your super power! (Example: liar- I have truth spit, if I need to get some information out of anyone all I have to do is spit on them and they will spill any knowledge or dirt that they are hiding.)
